Breed Notes - 17 Jan 2015
It was great success for John & Elaine with Dublin, his posh name Junior Jester at Pines, their puppy that came from Ireland at his first show taking best puppy award and going on to get best dog and BOB under Mr tom Johnston who had an entry of nine with one abscentee. They also took best bitch with Pines Acorn. Reserve bitch was Liz and Lynn’s Driftingsky Mist with the reserve dog going to Bettina’s Driftingsky Arcus. John and Elaine would have had a lovely drive back home with this success, so well done. This show has kicked off the start of the season. Our next show will be at Working & Pastoral breeds open show at Coventry in February and then it is the biggest show in the calendar, Crufts in March. Taking about Crufts, Julie is looking for volunteers for Discover dogs, remember your dog will need to be a good ambassador for the breed and enjoy being clapped by many members of the public and all the fuss that goes along with it. This is a tiring day for both handler and dog, but it is well worth it and extremely enjoyable. You will get a free pass for you and your dog. For more information contact Julie Condron on 01253 777186.
